“Participating in the Gallery of Living History Competition provided us with an excellent opportunity to work with and at Coventry University. After working on our proposal at school we attended 3 workshops on audio production, augmented reality, and performance working with lecturers and current degree students to refine our idea. This gave my students the opportunity to work with equipment and programmes that we do not have in school, experience a University setting, and meet lecturers and students to inspire them to take their studies to the next level. As well as learning new skills, they worked as a team and collaboratively saw a project through from inception to the final outcome. The value of this is that we were free to explore and create without constraints. A wonderful experience that I recommend to any school.”
